Glass trophy cleaning guidelines that you can’t just ignore

Have you ever seen Cricket trophies? Do you like getting awards? Have you ever earned a glass trophy? Do you take care of it? Do you want to know you can take care of it and maintain it? If the replies are positive, you are undoubtedly at the best place at the right time.

There are a lot of trophies store in UK that sells awards and medals for various sports and competitions. If you have earned a glass trophy, it is necessary for you to take extra care of it and clean it regularly.

Whether you have earned Golf trophies in UK or for any other sports or activity, you should take care of it and maintain it in good condition through years. There is a small and easy to follow process of cleaning them. So, let us take a look at the procedure...

Step1: Dusting

You can start it using the traditional feather duster. Also, you can remove the outer dirt with the help of a soft cloth, may be a worn out t-shirt. Once you remove the dirt from the outer surface, clean the base. Once you are done with dusting, make sure you vacuum the floor.

Step2: Cleaning

Take a clean cloth and spray some glass cleaner on it to wipe off the glass trophy. Do not spray it directly on the trophy.

•    The glass cleaner can be ammonia based or the commercial glass cleaner. However make sure you read the label, “It can be used on glass” before buying.

•    You can also use plain white wine vinegar with water. As it is acidic, dilute it with water. The proportion should be one third of vinegar and two third of water.

Step3: Drying

Take another completely dry cloth and wipe it off to remove the moisture completely.

The last, but certainly not the least, you should also clean the surface in which the trophy is placed or the holder. If the surface is wooden, you can wash it using the same cleaner. If the surface gets scratched, remove them using the furniture scratch remover.
